NH Seacoast Greenway (NHSG) non-motorized, trail from the Massacussetts border connecting with the Coastal Trails, to is a the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth, connecting with Maine's Eastern Trail. We also anticipate that as part of a national initiative (backed by several senators and congressmen) this project will be competitive for: Transportation Enhancement Funds, National & State Scenic Byways programs, National Recreational Trails Funding Program. There is also Foundations and Private Funding as possible other options. |
| The proposed Off-Road Trail will follow the old Eastern Rail Road corridor beginning in Seabrook and ending in Portsmouth. The trail from Seabrook to the Post Office in Hampton is in NHDOT hands, but beyond that point it belongs to Guilford Transportation Industries. Hopefully, some day it will end up in the public's hands. |
